Terms of Service

1. What RhinoWallet is

RhinoWallet is self-custodial wallet software. It runs in your browser and lets you create or import a wallet, hold and send crypto, view your activity, and swap tokens through third-party liquidity providers.

We are not a bank, a broker, an exchange, or a custodian. We do not hold your funds, we cannot move them, and we cannot freeze or reverse anything you do. There is no account with us and nothing for us to close.

2. Your keys and your responsibility

RhinoWallet offers two ways to hold a wallet, and they are not the same:

• Recovery-phrase wallet. Your keys are generated in your browser and encrypted on your device. Your recovery phrase is the only way to restore this wallet. If you lose it, no one — including us — can recover your funds. If someone else learns it, they control your funds.
• Sign-in wallet. Your keys are held in a secure enclave operated by our login provider, Privy, and signatures are produced there at your request. There is no phrase to write down. Whoever can sign in as you controls this wallet, so the security of your email, Google account or passkey is the security of your funds.

You are responsible for your device, your recovery phrase, your sign-in credentials, and every transaction you approve. Blockchain transactions are irreversible. An address typed or pasted incorrectly sends funds somewhere they cannot be retrieved.

3. Swaps and the fee we charge

Swaps are routed through third-party aggregators. We do not operate an order book, set prices, or hold either side of a trade. Quotes come from those providers and can move between the moment you see one and the moment your transaction confirms.

We charge a fee of 0.30% on swaps, taken in the token you receive. Separately, the routing provider takes its own fee — currently 0.15% — which we do not set and do not receive. Both are already deducted from the amount shown as “You get” before you confirm, and both are itemised on the swap screen, so the figure you see is the figure that arrives.

Network (gas) fees are separate again: they are set by the blockchain, paid to it, and are not ours.

4. Where the service is not available

You may not use RhinoWallet if you are located in, ordinarily resident in, or organised under the laws of a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you appear on any applicable sanctions list. We block access to our services from those jurisdictions, and the liquidity providers we route through screen wallet addresses independently.

By using RhinoWallet you confirm that none of the above applies to you, and that your use of it is lawful where you are.

5. What you must not do

• Use RhinoWallet for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or any other unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service or its providers.
• Use the service on behalf of anyone barred from using it under section 4.

6. Third parties

RhinoWallet depends on services we do not control — the login provider, the swap aggregators, blockchain node providers, price feeds, and the blockchains themselves. Outages, delays, incorrect data and rejected transactions can originate with any of them. Their own terms apply to your use of them through this app.

7. No warranty

RhinoWallet is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Crypto assets are volatile and can lose all of their value. Software can contain defects. Nothing in this app is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost funds, lost recovery phrases, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of RhinoWallet. Because we never hold your funds, we are not able to restore them in any circumstance.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use RhinoWallet after a change means you accept the updated terms.
